Meet Our Veterinary Staff

Hi, I'm Delia! I have been the Practice Manager of Plainfield Veterinary Clinic since 2019, although I had worked behind the scenes to support the operations of the clinic since 2013. Ironically, growing up, I was terrified of dogs. However, that fear dissipated once I met my husband Paul almost 30 years ago. Little did I know that one day I would work in the animal companion field and feel totally at ease around dogs and cats alike! I have a feisty corgi named Mira and two cats, Mimi (pictured) and a ginger boy named Pablo. We recently added a Doberman puppy named Elrond to our fur child family. My biggest passion is traveling with my family and friends, both in the US and abroad. I also love reading and enjoy a variety of cuisines and cultures. I appreciate beautiful art and architecture. I enjoy watching hockey, studying metaphysics, and spending time with my awesome husband and our two amazing sons, as well as with all my wonderful extended family and friends.

Hey! I’m Katie. I have been a part of the Plainfield Veterinary Clinic family since December 2013. I have had a love for animals since I was a small child, which probably started because I grew up with five dogs. I love all types of animals but have a sweet spot in my heart for giant breeds. I have two mastiffs at home, an English Mastiff named Earl and a Dogue de Bordeaux named Ellie. I love meeting and interacting with all our patients, and their humans too! I could not imagine working anywhere else!

Hi! My name is Emily, and I have been a tech for about four years now! I can't imagine not working with cats and dogs, and I've never met a Doodle or Chihuahua that I don't love! I have two dogs, a Cairn Terrier named Toto and a Longhaired Chihuahua named Olivia. I also have two cats named Sprout and Juice! When I'm not working, I love making crafts, spending time with my family and friends, and watching reality TV!

Hi, I’m Megan! I went to Southern Illinois University and received my bachelor’s degree in Agricultural Systems and Management while earning minors in animal science and horticulture. I have loved animals ever since I was little and knew I wanted to pursue a career in the veterinary field. I have been a Veterinary Technician since 2018. I have a nine-year-old Olde English Bulldog named Boris and am looking to grow my fur family in the years to come!

Hi! I’m Melissa! I have been part of the Plainfield Veterinary Clinic family since 2011. I graduated from the Joliet Junior College Veterinary Technician program in 2012 and shortly thereafter took the board exam to become a Certified Veterinary Technician. Since I was a small child, I have always wanted to work with animals; I truly could not imagine myself doing anything else. I have quite the full house with six animals. I have three dogs, two German Shepherds named Luna and Kane, as well as a toy poodle named Mindy. I also have three cats named Binks, Jace, and Rocket.

Hi! I’m Ami! I am a receptionist at Plainfield Veterinary Clinic. I have worked at the clinic for a total of nine years. I have two dogs, Cleo, a 15-year-old Chihuahua mix, and Lola, a 10-year-old papillon. I have always worked in the medical field but have found working with the animals and their owners truly enjoyable.

Hey! I’m Brandon! I joined the Plainfield Veterinary Clinic team as a receptionist in August 2022. I’ve always loved animals of all kinds, so working at a Veterinary Clinic was a no-brainer for me. I enjoy making special connections with pet parents; it is really the cherry on top of working in the Veterinary Field. I couldn’t imagine wanting to work anywhere else.

Hey! My name is Leeann! I have been working at Plainfield Veterinary Clinic as a receptionist since July 2021. I am currently enrolled at Joliet Junior College to finish my associate's degree and hope to become a Certified Veterinary Technician. I have two dogs, a two-year-old Lab mix named Daisy and a five-year-old German Shorthaired Pointer named Sadie. I adore both my dogs and bring them to the clinic regularly.

I’m Andrea. I am a groomer at Plainfield Veterinary Clinic. I have been grooming for the last 30 years and began my career as a grooming instructor and competitor. I have a 22-year-old son and a sweet Cairn Terrier, as well as two unappreciative cats.

Hello! My name is Kaylene. I am a Grooming Assistant here at Plainfield Veterinary Clinic. I have been working with dogs and other animals professionally since 2018. I spend my days off spoiling my own dog, going on walks and dipping my feet in her doggy pool. I am excited to continue expanding my knowledge here at PVC!

Hi! I’m Kaylee, and I work at Plainfield Veterinary Clinic as a Kennel Attendant. I am currently a junior at Plainfield South High School. I’ve always loved animals, but after volunteering at a few different shelters, I found that working with animals was something that I really enjoyed doing. Outside of work, I enjoy playing sports, particularly volleyball.
