Meet Our Veterinary Staff

Hi, I'm Delia! I have been the Practice Manager of Plainfield Veterinary Clinic since 2019, although I had worked behind the scenes to support the operations of the clinic since 2013. Ironically, growing up, I was terrified of dogs. However, that fear dissipated once I met my husband Paul, almost 30 yrs ago. Little did I know that one day I would work in the animal companion field and feel totally at ease around dogs and cats alike! I have a feisty corgi named Mira and two cats, Mimi (pictured) and a ginger boy named Pablo. We recently added a Doberman puppy named Elrond to our fur child family. My biggest passion is traveling with my family and friends, both in the US and abroad. I also love reading and enjoy a variety of cuisines and cultures. I appreciate beautiful art and architecture. I enjoy watching hockey, studying metaphysics, and spending time with my awesome husband and our two amazing sons, as well as with all my wonderful extended family and friends.

Hey! I’m Katie. I have been a part of the Plainfield Veterinary Clinic family since December of 2013. I have had a love for animals since I was a small child, which, probably started because I grew up with 5 dogs. I love all types of animals but have a sweet spot in my heart for giant breeds. I have two mastiffs at home, an English Mastiff named Earl and a Dogue de Bordeaux named Ellie. I love meeting interacting with all our patients, and their humans too! I could not imagine working anywhere else!

Hi! My name is Daniel and I have been a vet tech for 10 years, and have loved animals my whole life. I have a Beagle named Alister and a terrier mix named Kara. When I am not at work, I am either camping or exploring new places!

Hi! My name is Emily and I have been a tech for about 4 years now! I can't imagine not working with cats and dogs, and I've never met a Doodle or Chihuahua that I don't love! I have two dogs, a Carin Terrier named Toto and a Longhaired Chihuahua named Olivia. I also have two cats named Sprout and Juice! When I'm not working, I love making crafts, spending time with my family and friends and watching reality TV!

Hi, I’m Megan! I went to Southern Illinois University and received my bachelor’s degree in Agricultural Systems and Management while earning minors in animal science and horticulture. I have loved animals ever since I was little and knew I wanted to pursue a career in the veterinary field and have been a Veterinary Technician since 2018. I have a 9-year-old Olde English Bulldog named Boris and am looking to grow my fur family in the years to come!

Hi! I’m Melissa! I have been part of the Plainfield Veterinary Clinic family since 2011. I graduated from the Joliet Junior College Veterinary Technician program in 2012, and shortly thereafter took the board exam to become a Certified Veterinary Technician. Since I was a small child, I have always wanted to work with animals, I truly could not imagine myself doing anything else. I have quite the full house with 6 animals. I have three dogs, two German Shepherds named Luna and Kane, as well as a toy poodle named Mindy. I also have 3 cats named Binks, Jace, and Rocket.

Hi! I’m Ami! I am a receptionist at Plainfield Veterinary Clinic. I have worked at the clinic a total of 9 years. I have two dogs, Cleo a 15-Year-old Chihuahua mix and Lola, a 10-year-old papillon. I have always worked in the medical field but have found working with the animals and their owners truly enjoying.

Hey! I’m Brandon! I joined the Plainfield Veterinary Clinic team as a receptionist in August of 2022. I’ve always loved animals of all kinds, so working at a Veterinary Clinic was a no-brainer for me. I enjoy making special connections with pet parents; it is really the cherry on top of working in the Veterinary Field. I couldn’t imagine wanting to work anywhere else.

Hi! I’m Heather! I have been working at Plainfield Veterinary Clinic as a receptionist since January of 2024. I love animals and working with them on a daily basis. I have 3 pets; a Golden Retriever named Max, another Golden Retriever named Tucker, and a horse named Remington.

Hey! My name is Leeann! I have been working at Plainfield Veterinary Clinic as a receptionist since July of 2021. I am currently enrolled at Joliet Junior College to finish my associates degree and hope to become a Certified Veterinary Technician. I have two dogs, a 2-year-old Lab mix named Daisy, and a 5-year-old German Shorthaired Pointer named Sadie. I adore both my dogs and bring them to the clinic regularly.

Hi! I’m Courtney! I am a KenneI Attendant and Technician Assistant here at Plainfield Veterinary Clinic. I have dreamed about being part of the veterinary field since 1st grade. For me, it’s the excitement of a new case every day and being able to help the animals that cannot help themselves. I have taken training courses on animal behavior, signs of aggression in animals, as well as animal CPR. I currently own 3 dogs, a cat and a rabbit. I am very passionate about my job and I always make sure that every animal feels at home when they are with us. Working at PVC and being able to work with client and rescue animals really is a dream come true.

Hi! I’m Courtney!

Howdy! I’m Lori, and I am a kennel attendant here at Plainfield Veterinary Clinic. When I am away from the clinic, I spend most days walking and playing with dogs from other families in need. I also have four cats of my own at home that receive the absolute royal treatment. All the animals know me as the treat lady. Everyone loves a good treat!

I’m Andrea. I am a groomer at Plainfield Veterinary Clinic. I have been grooming for the last 30 years and began the beginning of my career as a grooming instructor and competitor. I have a 22-year-old son and a sweet Cairn Terrier, as well as two unappreciative cats.

Hey! My name is Gabby. I am one of the groomers at Plainfield Veterinary Clinic. I have been working with dogs and cats for the last 11 years, but began my grooming career at Petsmart in November of 2020. It has been so rewarding helping and working with animals. I currently have three dogs, two Pitbulls named Petey and Rizzo (after Rizzo from Grease), and a German Shepherd mix named Jax. I also share ownership of a black cat named Salem with my best friend. Salem can be quite the menace but we love him nonetheless. In my free time I like cuddling with my dogs while binge watching tv or taking Jax on nice long hikes.

Hello! My name is Kaylene. I am a Grooming Assistant here at Plainfield Veterinary Clinic. I have been working with dogs and other animals professionally since 2018. I spend my days off spoiling my own dog; going on walks and dipping my feet in her doggy pool. I am excited to continue expanding my knowledge here at PVC!

Hi! I’m Kaylee and I work at Plainfield Veterinary Clinic as a Kennel Attendant. I am currently a junior at Plainfield South Highschool. I’ve always loved animals, but after volunteering at a few different shelters, I found that working with animals was something that I really enjoyed doing. Outside of work I enjoy playing sports, particularly volleyball.

Hey, I’m Natalie! I have been around dogs since I was a baby and was the kid that would always be on the floor playing with pets, and I knew at a young age that I wanted to work with animals. After graduating high school, I took an introduction to Veterinary Technician course which I loved and lead me to working as a kennel attendant. I moved on to work at a grooming salon, and that’s where I found my real passion. I took courses and became Brusher/Bather certified. I learned a lot about dog and cats’ skin and coats, and how to properly wash and dry animals. This pushed me to further my skills and led me to become a Certified Grooming Assistant. I love working with Andrea, I learn so much from her and we always get in a few good laughs. I own a Bichon Mix named Ellie, and a kitten named Meadow. Ellie gives lots of kisses and is a sassy girl! I love being a part of the Plainfield Veterinary Clinic team and helping keep your pets happy, healthy, and clean!
