Meet Our Veterinary Staff

Hi! I’m Ami! I am a receptionist at Plainfield Veterinary Clinic. I have worked at the clinic a total of 9 years. I have two dogs, Cleo a 15-Year-old Chihuahua mix and Lola, a 10-year-old papillon. I have always worked in the medical field but have found working with the animals and their owners truly enjoying.

Hey! I’m Katie. I have been a part of the Plainfield Veterinary Clinic family since December of 2013. I have had a love for animals since I was a small child, which, probably started because I grew up with 5 dogs. I love all types of animals but have a sweet spot in my heart for giant breeds. I have two mastiffs at home, an English Mastiff named Earl and a Dogue de Bordeaux named Ellie. I love meeting interacting with all our patients, and their humans too! I could not imagine working anywhere else!

Hi! My name is Hayley! I have been part of the team here at Plainfield Veterinary Clinic as a receptionist since January 2022. I love animals and working with them is something that I am very passionate about. I have 2 dogs and 1 cat at home. I have a chihuahua mix named Cami, and Lab mix named Luna, and a tuxedo cat named Mr. Tails! I am also going to school part time and in my free time I like playing with my pups, catching up with friends, and spending time outdoors.

Hey! My name is Leeann! I have been working at Plainfield Veterinary Clinic as a receptionist since July of 2021. I am currently enrolled at Joliet Junior College to finish my associates degree and hope to become a Certified Veterinary Technician. I have two dogs, a 2-year-old Lab mix named Daisy, and a 5-year-old German Shorthaired Pointer named Sadie. I adore both my dogs and bring them to the clinic regularly.

Hi! I’m Kiera! I have loved animals my entire life. I have a German Shepherd named Cosmo and two cats named Lilly and Catsin. I love animals of all kinds and have always wanted to work in the veterinary field. During my free time, you can always find me outdoors I particularly enjoy kayaking and hiking at Started Rock State Park! I can’t wait to see your furry loved one(s) at the clinic!

Hi! I’m Melissa! I have been part of the Plainfield Veterinary Clinic family since 2011. I graduated from the Joliet Junior College Veterinary Technician program in 2012, and shortly thereafter took the board exam to become a Certified Veterinary Technician. Since I was a small child, I have always wanted to work with animals, I truly could not imagine myself doing anything else. I have quite the full house with 6 animals. I have three dogs, two German Shepherds named Luna and Kane, as well as a toy poodle named Mindy. I also have 3 cats named Binks, Jace, and Rocket.

Hi, I’m Megan! I went to Southern Illinois University and received my bachelor’s degree in Agricultural Systems and Management while earning minors in animal science and horticulture. I have loved animals ever since I was little and knew I wanted to pursue a career in the veterinary field and have been a Veterinary Technician since 2018. I have a 9-year-old Olde English Bulldog named Boris and am looking to grow my fur family in the years to come!

Hi, I’m Matt! I have worked at Plainfield Veterinary Clinic since the summer of 2018. I started out as a Kennel Attendant and worked my way up to a Veterinary Technician. My family and I have brought our family pets to Plainfield Veterinary Clinic since 2000. I am currently attending the University of Illinois College of Veterinary Medicine to become a veterinarian. I love all types of animals but have found a real interest in working with companion animals. I always look forward to coming home on school breaks to see our clients and their pets!

Hey I’m Gianna! I’ve worked at Plainfield Veterinary clinic since 2019. I started as a Kennel Attendant and have worked my way up to a Veterinary Assistant! I absolutely love working with and helping animals. I am currently enrolled at the University of Tennessee to become a forensic pathologist. Working at Plainfield Veterinary Clinic was the perfect opportunity for me to start my career in the medical field. I cannot wait to come home on college breaks and see all my furry friends and family at the clinic!

Hi! I’m Jessica! I grew up in the Joliet/Plainfield area. In 2014 I moved to Colorado where my husband and I got married and had our beautiful daughter. I went to school for Veterinary Assistant at Colorado Academy of Veterinary Technology in 2015 and shortly after, began my career in the Veterinary field. After learning on the job as a Veterinary Assistant for a couple years, I became a Veterinary Technician in 2017. I moved back to Illinois in 2020 and started with Plainfield Veterinary Clinic in December of 2021 as a Veterinary Technician. When I am not at work I enjoy reading, watching horror movies, doing anything outdoors, and spending time with my family—which includes my fur babies!

I’m Andrea. I am a groomer at Plainfield Veterinary Clinic. I have been grooming for the last 30 years and began the beginning of my career as a grooming instructor and competitor. I have a 22-year-old son and a sweet Cairn Terrier, as well as two unappreciative cats.

Hey, I’m Natalie! I have been around dogs since I was a baby and was the kid that would always be on the floor playing with pets, and I knew at a young age that I wanted to work with animals. After graduating high school, I took an introduction to Veterinary Technician course which I loved and lead me to working as a kennel attendant. I moved on to work at a grooming salon, and that’s where I found my real passion. I took courses and became Brusher/Bather certified. I learned a lot about dog and cats’ skin and coats, and how to properly wash and dry animals. This pushed me to further my skills and led me to become a Certified Grooming Assistant. I love working with Andrea, I learn so much from her and we always get in a few good laughs. I own a Bichon Mix named Ellie, and a kitten named Meadow. Ellie gives lots of kisses and is a sassy girl! I love being a part of the Plainfield Veterinary Clinic team and helping keep your pets happy, healthy, and clean!

Hi, I’m Zoe! I started with Plainfield Veterinary Clinic in 2021. I am a recent graduate from Plainfield Central High School and will be starting at Joliet Junior College in the fall of 2022. I have loved animals since I was very young. I have an English Bulldog named Diezel, and a tabby cat named Mac. I loved to spend my free time outdoors and have found a passion for archery.

Hi! I’m Morgan, and I work at Plainfield Veterinary Clinic as a Kennel Attendant. I have two dogs, a German Shepherd named Logan, and a Golden Retriever named Willow. I will be attending the University of Kansas starting in the fall of 2022 to study Behavioral Neuroscience.

Hi! I’m Kaylee and I work at Plainfield Veterinary Clinic as a Kennel Attendant. I am currently a junior at Plainfield South Highschool. I’ve always loved animals, but after volunteering at a few different shelters, I found that working with animals was something that I really enjoyed doing. Outside of work I enjoy playing sports, particularly volleyball.
