Ami Smith, Practice ManagerAmi Smith, Practice Manager.

Ami has worked in the medical field for approximately 9 years, with the last 4 at Plainfield Veterinary Clinic and Surgical Center.  She has always enjoyed working in the medical field but truly found her passion working with animals.  She started out as a PVC client in 2000 and, because of the compassion she and her pets received, she asked for a job.  Little did she know how lucky she would be to love going to work every day.  She had 2 dogs (Rottweiler and Doberman) when she started working at Plainfield Veterinary Clinic and Surgical Center, and have since adopted 2 more (Chihuahua and Chihuahua mix).  Recently, one of her dogs found a Cockatiel in her back yard, so now she’s added a bird to her home.  “There’s nothing better than the unconditional love between an owner and their pets!”

Missy, ReceptionistLauren, Receptionist.

She has two labs Buck and Brown, a python named Sol and a Gecko named Carl. Working with animals is extremely rewarding, and she wouldn’t want to be doing anything else.
